Projecta PW2100
2100W 12V Pro-Wave Pure Sine Wave Inverter
Pro-Wave
The Projecta PW2100 converts 12V DC battery power into 240V AC, 50Hz output for running compatible 240V appliances away from mains power. This model provides 2100W continuous, 2520W surge for approx. 10 minutes, 4200W peak for approx. 1 second and uses Pure sine wave output.
Always confirm the appliance power requirement, start-up surge, battery capacity, cable size and installation requirements before use.

Sensitive electronics and general 240V appliances within the inverter rating.
Camping, caravan, 4WD, canopy and touring applications.
Appliances with motors, pumps or compressors must be checked for startup surge before use.
Use only a suitable 12V DC battery system.
Battery capacity guidance: Minimum 105Ah, ideal 110Ah+.
Ensure the battery is fully charged and in good condition before operating high loads.
High-power appliances draw very high DC current. Undersized batteries, cables or fuses can cause voltage drop, shutdown or battery damage.
Runtime guidance: Approx. 30 minutes at 2100W on a 105Ah battery.
Install the unit in a dry, cool and well-ventilated location.
Keep ventilation openings clear and do not mount the unit where heat can build up.
Install the correct fuse or circuit breaker as close as practical to the battery positive terminal.
Use the cable size and installation method specified in the instruction manual.
Check polarity carefully before connecting the DC cables.
Make sure all connected appliances are switched off before turning the inverter on.
Turn the inverter on and allow it to start normally.
Connect or switch on appliances one at a time.
Do not exceed the continuous output rating or peak surge capability.
If a fault occurs, switch the unit off, remove the load, correct the cause and restart the unit.
Check for overload, low battery voltage, high input voltage, over-temperature, short circuit or excessive voltage drop.
Confirm the appliance does not exceed the continuous rating or startup surge capability.
Check that the battery and cable size are suitable for the load.
If overheated, switch the inverter off, remove the load and allow it to cool for approximately 15 minutes before restarting.
Inductive or capacitive appliances such as fridges, pumps, compressors and some tools can draw a much higher startup current than their running wattage.
Try a smaller load or confirm the appliance startup surge is within the inverter rating.
Low voltage or undervoltage indicates the battery voltage is too low under load.
Overvoltage indicates the input voltage is too high.
Overload or short circuit indicates the connected load must be removed or reduced.
Over-temperature indicates the inverter needs to cool before restarting.
Read the instruction manual before installation or use.
Use the inverter in a dry, cool and well-ventilated location protected from rain, water, dust and excessive heat.
Do not install the inverter in the same compartment as batteries or flammable materials.
Always use correctly sized DC cables, fuses and secure connections.
Do not connect the AC output to fixed building wiring, mains wiring, or another inverter output unless the manual specifically allows the installation and it is completed by a licensed electrician.
High AC voltage is present during operation. Do not open or service the unit unless qualified.
Reverse polarity connection can damage the inverter and may not be covered under warranty.
The Projecta PW2100 is listed with a 3 years warranty under normal use. Warranty does not cover damage caused by incorrect installation, reverse polarity, misuse, modification, overload, water ingress, physical damage or failure to follow the product instructions.
If the issue continues after completing the troubleshooting steps, stop using the inverter and contact Projecta support.
