What vehicles can I use it on? |
12V petrol and 12V diesel vehicles, provided the vehicle is within the unit rating. |
|
Can I use it on a 24V system? |
No. This unit is not compatible with 24V systems. |
|
Can I use it on household or dry-cell batteries? |
No. It is designed for automotive batteries only. Using it on other battery types may damage the unit, damage the battery, or cause injury. |
How do I check the battery level?
Press the Power Button and check the battery indication:
Green - fully charged
Yellow - partially charged
Red - low battery; recharge required
How long does it take to charge?
For the IS1500, charging takes approximately 4-6 hours. Charging time can vary depending on battery level and the power source used.
Why does charging appear slow?
This is normal. The unit uses a controlled, cell-balanced charging process to protect the battery, extend battery life, and reduce overheating risk.
RRT allows the unit to recharge from the vehicle alternator after a successful jump start.
If RRT does not appear to work, make sure the clamps were left connected for the full 40 seconds and have the vehicle charging system checked if required.
My vehicle did not start. What should I check?
How many attempts are recommended?
Use a maximum of 3 jump start attempts per session and wait 2-3 minutes between attempts.
What is Override Mode?
Override Mode is used when the vehicle battery is extremely low.
For the IS1500: Press the OVERRIDE button.
Important:
Override Mode disables reverse polarity protection and short-circuit protection. Use it with caution and only when the clamp connections have been checked carefully.
