The IQR040 is a single-channel smart relay for higher-current applications. The IQMR4 is a four-channel smart relay for controlling multiple accessories. Both communicate through LIN Bus 2.1 and are controlled through a compatible INTELLI-IQ system, IQD2 display, and the PROJECTA IQ App.

VSR mode turns the IQR040 into a Voltage Sensitive Relay for 12V systems.
The relay turns on when voltage rises above the cut-in voltage and turns off when voltage drops below the cut-off voltage.
VSR mode is only available on the IQR040 and only for 12V operation.
VSR mode will not appear if:
Driving Light mode is available only on the IQR040. It allows the relay to be used for driving light applications with a high or low trigger input.
The IQMR4 does not support Driving Light mode.
Linked Switch mode allows two IQMR4 channels to be linked so that only one channel can be active at a time.
Example: If Channel 2 is already on, turning Channel 1 on will automatically turn Channel 2 off.
Common uses include dual-colour lights, spotlight/floodlight switching, or accessories that should not operate at the same time.
Brightness adjustment is available only on the IQMR4 when the channel is set to Lighting Mode.
Brightness can be adjusted from 10% to 100%. In Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, brightness can be adjusted in 10% steps.

Yes. Schedule Program mode allows the relay or channel to turn on and off at selected times and days.
The IQR040 supports up to 4 schedule events. The IQMR4 supports one schedule event per channel. Events cannot overlap.
Off Delay keeps the connected device on for a selected time after the relay or channel is turned off.
The delay can be set from 1 minute to 3 hours and 59 minutes.

First check: Confirm the IQ controller firmware is version 1.1.X or later, the relay firmware has been updated through the PROJECTA IQ App, the IQD2 has been reset using the IQ RESET button, wiring and LIN connections are secure, and the connected accessory does not exceed the relay rating. |

Relay turns off automatically |
Low voltage, overvoltage, overcurrent, over-temperature, or short-circuit protection may have activated. |
Check system voltage, accessory current draw, wiring, fuse protection and cable sizing. Allow the unit to cool if required. Correct the fault before switching the relay back on. |

Voltage or current reading is red |
The reading is outside the configured limit. |
Check battery voltage, low-voltage setting, over-voltage setting, connected load, wiring condition, loose connections, undersized cable, or possible short circuit. Adjust settings only if suitable for the accessory. |

VSR mode not available |
VSR mode is only supported by IQR040 and only for 12V operation. |
Confirm the relay is IQR040. Confirm the system is set to 12V. Open relay settings, select VSR mode, then set cut-in and cut-off voltages. |

Driving Light mode not available |
Driving Light mode is only supported by IQR040. |
Use IQR040 for driving light applications. IQMR4 does not support Driving Light mode. |

Confirm the relay is IQMR4. Set the channel mode to Lighting, then return to the dashboard and adjust the brightness slider. |

Schedule Program not working |
Schedule was not saved, events overlap, incorrect start/end times were entered, wrong days were selected, or LIN communication was interrupted. |
Open schedule settings, check times and days, remove overlaps, then tap Save. Enable Prioritise Schedule if the schedule must continue when LIN communication is lost. |

CarPlay or Android Auto shows limited settings |
This is normal. Vehicle display systems only support basic functions. |

Relay detects a fault after the accessory turns on |
Load may exceed relay rating or wiring may be unsuitable. |
