How to clear Error 8901

PMLCD and PMLCD-BT control panels

Applies to: PMLCD and PMLCD-BT	Issue: Error code 8901

Use this procedure if your PMLCD or PMLCD-BT displays Error 8901. The steps change the BM setting from 01 to 00, then return the panel to the main screen.

! Important: This procedure is for PMLCD and PMLCD-BT only. Change only the BM value described below. Do not alter any other settings.

Button	What it does in this procedure
PUMP + LOAD	Press and hold together to open or exit the service screen.
LOAD	Scroll through menu items or change the selected value.
LIGHT	Open or confirm a selection. Press and hold when instructed to enter or go back.

Procedure

Open the service screen. From the main screen, press and hold PUMP and LOAD together. Release the buttons when the service screen appears.

Enter the settings menu. Press and hold LIGHT. The text CLOC should appear in the top-left corner.
Find the Module menu. Press LOAD repeatedly until Module appears at the top-left of the screen.

Open Module and find BM. Press LIGHT once to open the Module menu. Then press LOAD repeatedly until bm appears at the top-left.

Change the BM value to 00. Press LIGHT once. The value should show 01. Press LOAD to change it to 00, then press LIGHT once to confirm.

OK Check: Before continuing, confirm that the value shown next to bm is 00.

Return to the service screen. After confirmation, the panel returns to the bm menu. Press and hold LIGHT to return to the service screen.
Exit to the main screen. Press and hold PUMP and LOAD together until the main screen returns.

Confirm the result

OK Completed: Error 8901 should no longer be displayed.

If Error 8901 remains

Repeat the procedure once and confirm that bm is saved as 00.
If the menu or value shown on your panel is different, exit without changing other settings.
If the error returns, contact Projecta Technical Support and provide the applicable model number (PMLCD or PMLCD-BT) and a clear photo of the screen.
